Magnifying Glass Freeware Magnifies Text On Your Computer Screen

by DB on July 31, 2008

‘Magnifying Glass’ is a freeware from 4 Neurons that magnifies and enlarges text on your computer screen. Magnifying Glass only works on the windows OS and windows 2000 and windows XP are supported. Windows Vista is only partially supported (don’t know what partially supported would mean!). The installer for this freeware is only 174 KB and is easy to download and install.

Not sure if this is of real use to anyone. Folks who prefer a larger font size to a smaller font size on web pages can change options on their browsers. For other applications, overall resolution changes can make your text bigger if you really like bigger text.

Magnifying Glass is a high quality magnification software that employs advanced image filtering algorithms.

It allows displaying magnified portions of the screens that are smooth and sharp which results in increased readability. Our magnification technology also allows realistic lens simulations. (You can check out “fun lense” option for a fish-eye magnification lense effect.)
